About Kristin
Kristin Smith can’t say no to a dare, which sometimes leads to scars and always leads to stories. She’s lived in tepees, buses, warehouses, and on an island accessible only by kayak. She spent most of her childhood in a coal-mining town that bought the body of a dead athlete and buried it there. She’s convinced everyone she loves to move to the West Coast and will only go East if Ira Glass asks her to. When she’s not working with words, she’s busy riding bikes, toiling away on projects, and sipping whiskey.
