About Ilana

Ilana Diamond is a maker of things visual, audio, and audible. Before her day-to-day foray into the digital world she was Photo Editor of ReadyMade Magazine, and did much the same for New York Magazine. Now, back home here in Baghdad By The Day, she hones her skills of watching black-and-white movies starring men in high waisted pants, seashell hunting, and drafting dioramas, often at the same time. On Wednesday afternoons, around 4:05pm, she prefers singing and strumming a guitar rather than writing bios about herself for online magazines, and, as such, farms such trivialities out to freelance writers in exchange for frozen yogurt.
