Sarah Rich grew up in Denver, Colorado. She moved to the Bay Area in 1998 and never left. She writes about design, sustainability, food, cities, and the mysteries of new media. She is a former senior editor at Dwell magazine, co-author of the book Worldchanging: A User's Guide for the 21st Century, and co-founder of Civil Eats.
