Comedians Dauood Naimyar and Rahul Pandya host free stand-up comedy on the first Wednesday of every month at Hometown Heroes in Emeryville, a bar decked with artwork dedicated to Too Short and Mac Dre (and yes, there's a legendary photo op involved). Showtime is 8pm, it's free with an RSVP, and they've got exclusive drink specials plus modernized Filipino classics like kare-kare and lumpia on the menu.
