Wish your LinkedIn posts got more VIEWS? Want to break into the Silicon Valley ELITE? Hope to get more likes and feel like less of a LOSER?

As one of the most admired people on LinkedIn — with millions of followers at the ripe age of only 25 — I am beloved for the inspirational posts I share with this community. Needless to say, I’m on a first-name basis with the likes of Mark Zuckerberg and Adam Neumann, I get insider trading info from Mark Cuban and grab coffee every week with Elizabeth Holmes.

If you’re looking to gain affluence and wealth — or just get an ego boost — you’ve come to the right place. Follow these five golden rules and you too can ascend to the upper echelons of LinkedIn stardom and be forever immortalized as one of the great influencers of our generation.

Rule #1: Write ‘free’ guides

Do you want a guide containing 200+ tips and tricks to help you on your journey to becoming a LinkedIn celebrity?

As a student, I remember how difficult it was to get more than 10 likes on a post. I was so proud of being promoted to chief treasurer at Stanford’s Wine and Cheese Club during junior year, yet no one aside from my 11th-grade gym teacher could even be bothered to drop me a like.

That’s why I’ve taken the time to read thousands of viral LinkedIn posts over the years. I’ve spent days combing through relevant market statistics and trends in order to better understand how to rig the system.

I even paid off my buddies at LinkedIn to dissect their recommendation engine and explain how it works.

This free guide contains invaluable tips and tricks that will catapult your LinkedIn writing career to new heights. Use it to:

  • Instantly receive 1,000% more views on your next LinkedIn post
  • Gain respect in your network of other bros trying to inspire people on social media
  • Connect with fellow LinkedIn extraordinaires and gloat in your success together

Rule #2: Show how much you care

A few weeks ago, I hired a candidate who was totally unqualified for the role. She turned out to be an absolute rockstar.

This woman was a fresh graduate from a no-name college with a measly 2.7 GPA. She had never worked a day in her life and shamelessly slapped Excel on her resume even though she had no idea how to use it.

So why did I hire her?

She was eager to learn. She asked questions. She arrived 10 minutes early for a morning interview, pronounced my name correctly, and dressed nicely. Plus, she was really pretty and her mom knew my mom back in upstate New York.

Thanks to my incredible foresight, I just knew she was going to be a perfect fit. Not to mention she was a 23-year-old Black woman, making her the perfect culture fit for the diverse team my investors say I need to assemble at my viral writing academy.

Rule #3: Share motivational stories

You can do anything you put your mind to.

At age 23, Oprah was fired from her first reporting job.

At age 24, Stephen King was living in a trailer and worked as a janitor.

At age 46, Samuel L. Jackson landed his first lead role.

Three years ago, I was lost. I had no direction in life. I worked a mundane 9-to-5 sculpting bushes at my local country club, barely making enough to pay for my Equinox membership.

That’s when it hit me. I decided to turn it all around. I dropped by my local Barnes & Noble, popped open a self-improvement book, flipped to Chapter 4, and read the first three paragraphs.

Voila! After becoming well-versed in motivational speaking and writing,
I felt the need to share it with others.

Fast-forward three years, and I’ve given a TED Talk (TEDx that is), written an award-winning book (self-published), and was just named as the most influential writer of the decade (based on a private survey).

Whatever your dream is, it’s never too late to achieve it. Whether you’re 21 or 85, you aren’t a failure just because you haven’t found fame yet.

All you have to do is believe.

You are full of potential. Every single one of you.

Rule #4: Be humble

I’m very excited to share that I’ve accepted an offer to join LinkedIn in Summer 2020. I’ll be working out of Sunnyvale as a viral writer.

I’m extremely grateful for this incredible opportunity to feel the rush of adrenaline every time I post to this site and help other people get that same satisfaction.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me through the recruiting process, and let me know if you’ll be in the Bay Area in the coming months!

P.S. I’m thinking of putting together a guide containing advice on how to land an incredible internship in Silicon Valley. If you would be interested, leave a comment below!

Rule #5: Don’t focus on the stats

The problem is too many writers are overly obsessed with perfection. Newsflash: There is no “perfect” article.

My friend tells me her articles never get enough views. So many budding writers like her these days are too consumed by the numbers.

How many views did I get today?

What’s my read ratio?

Why is this article underperforming?

When did writing become a popularity contest? It seems like everyone is looking for that easy magic formula to writing a viral post nowadays.

Agree⁉️🤔

Discuss.👇

Want the secret to being famous like me? Here’s the truth. Forget about the clickbait titles, misleading images, and obtrusive drop caps. Most of all, forget those phony guides that claim to hold the secret to getting you more views.

The only secret to writing success is to write. Don’t write for the views or the money. Write out of passion, curiosity and genuine interest. Write because youenjoyit.

Let your writing speak for itself.

What do you think?? 🧠
