Burmese Kitchen was one of last year’s sad local casualties — or so we thought! Though the Lin family closed up their five-year-old eatery on Larkin Street in the Tenderloin at the end of November, they have now found a new space out west for a one-year pop-up.

Starting tomorrow (January 20), you can find Burmese Kitchen in the old To Hyang space at 3815 Geary Street in the Inner Richmond. Though not strictly vegetarian, Burmese Kitchen prominently bills itself as vegetarian-friendly and even has a decent amount of vegan options, with most dishes priced between $6.95–9.50. Hours will be daily from 5–10 p.m., with weekend lunch hours to be announced soon.

If you can’t wait until tomorrow, though, instant gratification is available: A few reservation spaces have just opened up for tonight’s soft opening.
