Cards Against Humanity Expansion Pack Skewers SF

You know you’re tired of San Francisc-opoly, and never really got into Gentrifiers of Catan, so thankfully someone has invented a Bay Area-themed party game in tune with today’s sensibilities. Cards Against the Bay, an unofficial expansion pack to the delightfully wicked Cards Against Humanity, is a great way to troll all your friends and their conflicted feelings about San Francisco.

The Bay Area Expansion (works with Cards Against Humanity™)You'll need an HTML5 capable browser to see this content.www.kickstarter.com

Created by San Jose native Jose Barrientes (which might explain the “people arguing if San Jose is part of the Bay” card), Cards Against the Bay has already exceeded its crowdfunding goal by more than 50 percent with three weeks still left in the campaign. That success might be attributable to “I was fired from Google due to ____,” which is probably something of a trump card owing to its Dadaist potential.

As ever, the stark black-and-white-and-Helvetica-all-over design is a sharp counterpoint to the deadpan tone, and you can shuffle them seamlessly into the Cards Against Humanity deck. There are only 25 question cards and 75 answer cards in this set, but an additional ten and 30 will be unlocked if the project gets 200 backers.

Please, please let there be a “Car commercials filmed on Twin Peaks Blvd” or “Straight couples nervously holding hands in the Castro” card! It’ll be so much more fun than spending four hours collecting $200 every time you pass The Fog.
