Free First Thursdays at Berkeley Art Museum

Berkeley Art Museum's free admission on first Thursdays (normally $18) gets you into galleries plus access to scheduled tours, lectures, and public programs. BAMPFA, housed in a 2016 Diller Scofidio + Renfro building downtown, holds over 25,000 artworks—including Abstract Expressionist paintings, contemporary photography, and the largest collection of Japanese cinema outside Japan—plus 18,000 films and videos.
