Tis the season for scares, candy, costumes, booze and boos. For many, Halloween is the highlight of autumn. Below is a list of events to keep you in a festive mood for what little is left of October, fright fiends.

The San Francisco Dungeon

San Francisco Ghost Hunt Walking Tour

Now through 10/31. The next tour will not be until 2018!
Cost: $25 per person

If you’re more into tricks than treats, perhaps you’ll get the opportunity to see a real ghost during the San Francisco Ghost Hunt Walking Tour. Learn more about the city and its prominent historic hauntings.

Alameda Point Pumpkin Patch

Boo! Bark, Brews + Bites

If you’re a dog parent, this is the event for you! Bring Fido down in costume for mingling, a pet psychic, a photo booth and paw painting. Don’t worry—there will be human fare and beer, so it’s not all about the pooches.

Speakeasy SF Halloween Party Cruise

If you’re looking for a festive good time but still want to keep it plush and glam, consider the Speakeasy SF Halloween Party Cruise! Flapper and roaring-twenties attire is encouraged, which would make for quite the fun date night. Enjoy music for three hours, played by four different well-known Bay Area DJs. Wanna bring your friends? It shouldn’t be a problem—the San Francisco Belle can accommodate up to 1,500 people.
