Those of us who weren’t in our usual drinking caves last night caught a glimpse of a truly gorgeous sunset. In case you missed it, here is a neat time lapse video a reader sent in that perfectly captures the whole thing.
It’s freaking awesome. Look at it, it’s like a lava lamp exploded across the sky! It’s set to a soothing Brian Eno soundtrack, but if you really want to amp up your viewing experience I’d listen to John Williams’ “Duel of Fates” and pretend that some scary plague is descending on Sutro Tower to kick the shit out of all humanity and rain rivers of blood down on the city.
But that’s just me.
