You can watch the official announcement, which was released on Funny Or Die, below.

Mark it down in your calendars now: the festival runs from August 7–9 in Golden Gate Park, with ticket prices still unknown but they go on sale Thursday, March 26, at 10 a.m. To get an idea of how much tickets might cost, the “Eager Beaver” tickets sold on March 12, had general admission prices running at $285 and VIP at $645. Those tickets also all sold out within an hour and a half of going live. Last year, regular general admission tickets were going for $275, so get ready to spend even more of your hard-earned cash this year.
If you’re a die-hard Outside Lands fan, rejoice and enjoy what the festival’s going to bring you this year. But if you’re over it or not willing to shell out that much cash, there’s plenty of other shows and cheaper festivals to catch.
Do whatever your musical heart tells you to do, San Francisco.
