Here at The Bold Italic, we freaking love posters. That’s why when we saw San Francisco Contours, we had to give props. The posters are a collection of elegant topographical maps of SF created by designer Abe Bingham. Bingham was born and raised in San Francisco and wanted to see the city he loves in a different way. He was inspired to strip the maps of all their man-made features and exaggerated the height slightly to simulate the way the city looks as pedestrians rather than from above. Gotta have one?
