On Thursday, August 22nd, The Bold Italic and Google+ Local brought our famous Microhood party to Hayes Valley (hood home to our own HQ) with Oh Hayes (Or as we like to say it in the office “Oh, Haaaaaay-es”). Here are a few of our favorite scenes from the party.
Hundreds came out on a beautiful evening to the neighborhood block party. People crowded into businesses along Hayes between Laguna and Gough to take advantage of complimentary drinks, pretty insane discounts, and other moments of special treatment from this charming neighborhood in the heart of the city.
Our Premiere Presenter, Azalea offered %15 off purchases of $150 or more and an extra %15 off sale items. They also had free macarons courtesy of Miette, champagne and a live DJ set. Plus nail stations by LUX SF!
Guests that spent $250 at Rand + Statler received 20% off their purchase. They also offered complimentary champagne and an extra 20% off sale items
Ritual Coffee Roasters offered free tastings for three varieties of Guatemalan coffee
Smitten Ice Cream featured an exclusive flavor for the night- The Cold Italic Salted Caramel
Nomads had free Newcastle Brown Ale and free shots of Tequila. Plus 10% off all purchases including sale items and accessories
Juice Shop gave out free samples of their delicious juices
Broken Seal Buttons made awesome “Oh Hayes” buttons for the Microhood! We’ll gave ’em out for free at TBI headquarters!
2 Sisters Bar and Books featured a complimentary seasonal cocktail made with Hangar 1 Vodka
Brass Tacks hosted an epic after party with discounted specialty cocktails made with Monkey Shoulder Scotch, Campari, and Skyy Vodka. They also had $2 Trumer Pils.
