Silk Strings Ensemble is a Chinese musical group made up of San Francisco high schoolers who perform Chinese traditional instruments: yangqin (also known as the Chinese hammered dulcimer) which is a stringed instrument played with rubber-tipped bamboo sticks, and guzheng (also known as the Chinese plucked zither) which is also a string instrument but plucked with finger picks.
Silk Strings Ensemble performs traditional Chinese music as well as modern favorites from Taylor Swift and BTS.
