Don a wedding dress and join the Brides for this annual San Francisco tradition at the 26th annual Brides of March.
Join the parade through the heart of North Beach. Our party will begin with a gathering in Washington Square Park, followed by a bridal procession up Columbus Avenue, and DIY wedding receptions at the bar and restaurant parklets on Grant Avenue.
All you need for this event is a white wedding dress, the more elaborate, the better. Check your local thrift store for suitable attire.

My beautiful brides – it’s time for that most special of events! The 26th Annual Brides of March!
Our party will begin in Washington Square Park where we’ll gather and take some photos in front of the gorgeous Saints Peter and Paul Church, followed by a bridal procession up Columbus Avenue, stopping at the always amazing Red Window, then proceeding on to visit our friends at Specs’ Twelve Adler Museum Cafe. From there, we’ll have a few more stops for all your DIY wedding reception, snacks, and mingling needs at the local bars and restaurant parklets.
In previous years, the Brides of March took over Union Square, but in 2026, the party will begin with a gathering in Washington Square Park. This event will happen rain or shine.
