Pixar’s next feature film, Inside Out, is set in San Francisco and it’s coming out fairly soon. The movie will be released June 19, but a new trailer became available today. If you’re caught up on why Inside Out is going to rule, enjoy this trailer. If you need a little background, please read this.
The trailer includes a joke about the bears of San Francisco and the line “Congratulations, San Francisco! You’ve ruined pizza!” I think it would be more accurate if this fictional pizza was topped with arugula instead of broccoli, but do kids know what arugula is? You also get more of a glimpse into the main character Riley’s San Francisco apartment and neighborhood than in the previous teaser, which is a fabulous way to get excited for all the Bay Area Easter eggs I’m hoping are included in the final film.
