The happiest time of the year for football fans is finally upon us — the playoffs. It’s that win or die situation that has every fan on the edge of their futon. This year, after an exciting season that constantly had us biting our nails, San Francisco is lucky enough to be caught up in the race for the Superbowl. And this Saturday at 5 p.m. it all comes down to a showdown against Bay Area native Aaron Rogers and the cheeseheads, err, Greenbay Packers.
In case you’re still not sure where you’ll end up tomorrow evening, here’s a list of seven (get it? Kaepernick is #7) of the best places in the city to pull up a bar stool, order some wings, and get to cheering on Gore and the rest of the Niners.

1. SoMa StrEat Food Park: A 49'ers Food Truck Party Featuring $2 Beer
Nothing says we suport our local football team more than ten gourmet food trucks, cheap PBR, a 70-inch flat screen, and a heated patio. Now go get ’em boys!

2. North Star Cafe: 49ers Playoff Party
Bay Area Sports Guy is celebrating his fifth anniversary with FREE Amici’s pizza, $3 49ers shots, free 49ers koozies, and hopefully, a win over the Packers!

3. Harry’s Bar, Pacific Heights
One of the city’s most legendary bars, Harry’s promises to be a good time on Saturday evening. And their bottomless bellini brunches are a prefect way to get the party started early.

4. Jake’s Steaks 49ers Party
Celebrate every touchdown with a complimentary red Jell-O shot from Jake’s. Even though the bar traditionally supports the Eagles, they do serve a delicious Philly Cheesesteak that will go perfect with the taste of victory.

5. Delirium’s Pre-Game BBQ
Delirium is offering a pre-game BBQ with burgers, hot dogs, and even veggie options! There’s a two drink minimum to chow down, but with $2 well drinks and $2 drafts, we say that’s no problem.

6. Kezar Pub, The Haight
Kezar might be the quintessential sports bar in San Francisco, but that just means you’re guaranteed to have a good time. Plus you can watch any of the other sports games on the plethora of televisions during halftime.

7. Union Square Sports Bar, The Tenderloin
This definitely isn’t the fanciest bar in town, but it’s sure to be packed with die-hard Niners fans. Plus, with 17 TVs it’s the perfect place to celebrate a Bay Area playoff win.
There you have it, the best places to be when the 49ers beat the Packers and continue on their journey towards that giant bowl in the sky — the superbowl.
