Wine country music festival BottleRock Napa Valley returns to the Napa Valley Expo on May 29–31. Last year’s lineup definitely kept the ’90s dream alive, a reverie that continues this year thanks to throwback marquee names like No Doubt, Snoop Dogg, Public Enemy, and Los Lobos. But they’re also reaching even farther back this time with headliners like Robert Plant and a live group called Napa Crossroads Live that features members of ’70s and ’80s titans Kansas, Ambrosia, Chicago, and Survivor.
This will be the third installment of the annual festival. While the inaugural event in 2013 was by many accounts a failure — it actually bankrupted the original promoter, BR Festivals LLC — last year’s event, held by new organizer Latitude 38 Entertainment, was not marred by the same problems.
Tickets for BottleRock Napa Valley go on sale (find ’em on the official site as well as on Eventbrite) at 10 a.m. on January 8. Three-day general admission passes start at $235.
