On June 10, the LA Food Fest hosted 100+ venues at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for an all-you-can-eat food-and-drink extravaganza. We took pauses between bites to capture some of our favorite dishes and the chefs who prepared them. The camera got a little greasy, but it was worth it.

Traffic and sunshine—two Los Angeles staples.

In we go.

Little Fatty, a Taiwanese soul-food restaurant, served their famous Sunday Gravy. We arrived in time to swipe one of the last small bites from the tray.

This enthusiastic banana is Nguyen Tran, creator of LA’s underground restaurant Starry Kitchen. He served buttermilk beer beignets in a spicy crab sauce while heckling the people waiting in line.

The Pasta Sisters cooked up delicious gnocchi in fresh arrabbiata sauce. Just a little kick.

We asked this pizza god if we could catch a glimpse of his crust tossing. He happily obliged.

Urbn’s pizza tastes as delicious as New Haven’s famous pies (New Haven is frequently given the accolade of best pizza in America). It makes sense — the owner hailed from Connecticut.

Desserts galore at the ice cream social corner. Açaí bowls, strawberry chia-seed drinks, s’mores, churros, shaved ice, rice pudding and a very sad-looking deflated donut.

The day winding down. A once-full rack of barbecuing deliciousness, now a small pile on the ground.

Until next time, LA Coliseum.
