This Sunday is International GoTopless Day so peel off your t-shirts and pray it’s a sunny one. Traditionally, GoTopless Day falls the Sunday closest to Women’s Equality Day. GoTopless.org was started by Raelians as a protest against denying women the right to go topless in public. Just FYI — it’s not illegal for women to be topless in SF. Still, head over to Dolores Park between noon and 3, where nipples will abound. (SFist)
Caffeine you spray out of a can? What will they think of next? Ben Yu and Deven Soni have created an energy product that you apply directly to your skin so that you never have to get up to make a cup of coffee again. “Sprayable Energy” is absorbed through the skin and distributed evenly throughout the body so that you get a long-lasting caffeine high without the need to pee afterwards. The whole thing is being crowd funded on Indiegogo. My question is: does it still make you poop? (Huffington Post)

In case you missed all the flashing signs on the freeways this week, you should know that the Bay Bridge will be closed next week from 8 p.m. on Wednesday to 5 a.m. on Tuesday. Yup, right through Labor Day weekend. So, if you were planning on escaping the city over the holiday, brace yourself for what will likely be carmageddon. Why not take a nice staycation or venture over to Oakland instead? At least we still have BART. (KTVU)

An article published in Slate this week made an excellent case for getting drunk at work. Well, “at least for people in non-routine jobs, there’s some evidence that moderate alcohol consumption could be beneficial,” the article reads. That’s all I need to hear; pass around the whiskey. As a side note, however, the article does warn never, ever to drink during an interview. Period. (Slate)

The first phases of bike sharing have officially been installed in San Francisco. The five-city Bay Area launch is planned for next Thursday, but downtown SF is already abuzz with the new bike racks put in this week. Here’s a handy dandy station map to see where you can soon pick up a bike of your own. (Streetsblog)
