You may have heard that there is a chill-ass donkey gracing Hayes Valley with its presence in between performances of Don Quixote at the SF Ballet. BUT HAVE YOU HEARD that said donkey will be at Souvla today, posing for pictures from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.? It will be.
The tasty modern Greek place with fancy salads, Souvla has “reconcepted” as La Souvlaria to celebrate the goodness of April Fool’s Day and margaritas. The new fast, casual Mexican concept means they will be serving a special one-day menu of tacos, nachos, salads, cerveza, dulce de leche, and more. The regular menu will not be available today, but there will be a mariachi band from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, so you win some and you lose some.
Below is the full menu, but of course the important thing to remember here is that you could end April Fool’s Day with a new profile picture and you can bet your ass (tee hee) that donkey pics bring in the likes.
