What Full House Would Be Like in 2015 — The Bold Italic — San Francisco

As a ’90s kid, it’s my duty in life to freak out over any rumor that something from my childhood is making a comeback. While I’m still holding out for the Spice Girls to finally reunite, today I’m stoked that a reboot of Full House might — might! — be coming to Netflix.

Though my gut reaction is to assume that this is a belated April Fools joke, both Variety and TVLine.com report that Netflix may pick up the show for a 13-episode season. This isn’t the first time reunion rumors have swirled; last summer Warner Bros. hinted at the idea. The Bold Italic reached out to Netflix and got a lame “No comment here, just speculation” response, so for now we’ll just have to imagine what Full House would be like in modern-day San Francisco.

If the Tanners wanted to get lunch in Alamo Square, they’d have to dodge hipsters selling pot.

Kimmy would’ve totally got her hat for $40 from the Coachella section of Urban Outfitters.

There would be absolutely zero parking for their big red car.

Michelle would learn how to say “you got it dude” in Mandarin at pre-school.

Danny Tanner and Uncle Joey could finally admit their feelings for each other.

Uncle Joey would constantly complain about how there’s no artists left in the city.

DJ would have a shaved head and teach everyone how to smash the patriarchy.

Stephanie would be a successful staff writer at BuzzFeed telling the world all of her opinions.

And these aren’t the only suggestions. In classic Internet overdrive, a Twitter account called “FullHouseModernDay” popped up immediately after rumors started spreading. Sample tweets:

Don’t hold your breath though — there’s no reason to believe Full House will actually make a comeback, and to be honest, would it even be the same?
