By The Bold Italic

Last Thursday, The Bold Italic and Chevrolet returned to Clement Street to host our 4th annual Inner Richmond Microhood. The Inner Richmond is one of our favorite neighborhoods, and a huge crowd turned out to visit all the great shops, bars, and businesses there.
Chevrolet attracted a lot of attention with their electric vehicles! Participants got to check out the new Chevy Volt and Spark, play a fun quiz game, and win free empanadas from El Sur food truck.
New Belgium brought the party to Neck of the Woods! The Killer Queens, an amazing all-female Queen tribute band, performed live for a packed house. Party-goers enjoyed $2 pints of New Belgium Rampant Double IPA’s while they sang along to hits like “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Bicycle Race.”
Pretty Please Bakeshop got shoppers in the mood for the upcoming holiday season with free spiked and regular eggnog, 25% off bakery items, and 10% off holiday orders. We’d love to have one of their gorgeous baked goods at our holiday celebration!
Story, one of our favorite boutiques on Clement Street, was full of visitors enjoying bubbly drinks, small bites, cool beats, and artwork by Sita Rupe, Nate1, and Coco Leo.
Toy Boat Dessert Cafe had an irresistible offer: $1 chocolate salted brownie swirl ice cream cones!
Guests were able to get crafty with free sewing classes at Wee Scotty, who also offered runway samples, snacks, and drinks.
Purity Organic handed out bottles of their delicious organic juice.
The Bold Italic set up shop next to the public parklet on 3rd Ave. and Clement. We gave away great prizes in our Uncle Jesse Treat Machine, including Poco Dolce chocolates, cute SF-themed patches, Rock the Boat drink koozies, and more!
Our next Microhood will be in Bernal Heights on December 4th. Be sure to RSVP and get ready to enjoy some holiday cheer!
