EVENT DESCRIPTION
Every first Friday, the Castro transforms into a roaming gallery experience—this month, 17+ participating locations from wine bars to bookstores to artist studios throw open their doors for free from 5–8PM, complete with live DJs, local exhibitions, and surprise installations. The vibe is intentionally walkable and community-driven, so park yourself anywhere on Market Street or the surrounding blocks and let the neighborhood guide you. All ages welcome, easily accessible via Church St or Castro St Muni stations, and genuinely free—which in SF means you actually save money.
