IMPACT Bay Area runs a free one-hour intro class on the first Wednesday of every month (6:30-7:30pm) at a secret SF location that gets sent to you after you RSVP. You'll learn situational awareness, verbal de-escalation skills, and two simple physical techniques—no experience needed, open to all genders, and graduates get a discount on their full Basics course.
