
God bless the Folsom Street Fair. (Or Satan bless it, if that’s what you’re into). In a city that is arguably becoming less weird every year, Folsom defines San Francisco’s historically hedonistic attitudes—in distinct contrast to the East Coast’s puritanical demeanor, something they can’t seem to shake after all these years. While SF is celebrating our right to have golden showers in public, in New York City they’re still arresting people for peeing on the sidewalk. How regressive.
