News website Berkeleyside shared a photo of a note one Berkeley neighbor left to another who has been taking his Wall Street Journal for years. The author of said letter is Marty Schiffenbauer, who appears to want to come to some sort of very Berkeley working compromise with his sticky-fingered friend. Sylvia Ruben might have said it best when she wrote, “Here in Berkeley, when we scold our neighbors, we add a little extra flourish.” Here’s hoping the two can share their paper from here on out. Maybe they can become pen pals!
