Off the Grid Returns For the Season and Announces New Food — The Bold Italic — San Francisco

While the East Coast continues to suffer in a frozen tundra, we’ve been blessed with gorgeous sunny days (and ridiculously photogenic sunsets). Thankfully, it’s now March, which means Off the Grid is back and we can stand in line for food every weekend.

If your stomach just did two backflips, you’re not alone. Don’t worry, you haven’t missed all of the opening days yet. While Off the Grid Picnic at the Presidio started this past Sunday, opening night for Off the Grid at Fort Mason Center is this Friday. You know the deal — it runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. with 30 food trucks and tents, live music, DJ sets, and, of course, alcohol galore. There’s new foods to try like Burma Bear and the return of 3-Sum Eats this Friday only. If you want to plan your meal for the night, check out what food trucks and tents will be there on the website.

Though we haven’t had a real winter, I think it’s safe to say that spring is here with Off the Grid coming back, right? If nothing else, it’s a better deal to eat and drink there with the Bay backdrop than cooking yourself pasta for the fifth time this week.
