San Francisco isn’t the only place that gets judged harshly on Yelp. After unearthing the saltiest reviews of our foggy city, I decided that the city of angels deserved to be mined as well.
Things I’ve learned: Angelenos and visitors have a habit of conflating museum experiences with the quality of the on-site restaurants. There is traffic in every corner, and inadequate parking puts a universal damper on otherwise pleasant experiences; for that reason, I left parking-related negative reviews out of this collection. Everything is a “venue.” And celebrities aren’t literally everywhere. Enjoy.

Ugh, screw you Jessica for doing your job.

If you do not like modern art, perhaps you should not go to a modern art museum.
The Getty

I always rate my museum experiences by the quality of their cafes.
Hollywood Bowl

DON’T DO IT!!!!!!!!
Griffith Observatory

The irony. I have no words for the degree of rudeness and prejudice this Yelper displayed.
Hollywood Walk of Fame

I really hate it when celebrities don’t appear on-demand. Isn’t there an app for that?
Santa Monica Pier

LA’s version of Fisherman’s Wharf, apparently, does not compare. We would suggest avoiding both.
Walt Disney Concert Hall

“Walt Dismay Concert Hall.”
Hollywood Forever Cemetery

Because, in L.A., cemeteries are also concert venues.
Muscle Beach

A photo is worth a thousand words. As is a Yelp review.
Hollywood Sign

388 check-ins? If you hate it so much, why do you go there so often?
