Every year, the Mission in San Francisco honors Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a two-day Mexican holiday that reunites the living with the dead. The sacred holiday in the city is like no other in that it celebrates death and life with a Festival of Altars, a processional walk, a ritual circle, and workshops. This past Saturday, we captured the processional walk, where mourning is exchanged for celebration. Here are some highlights.
