What better way to celebrate years of stunning views and amazing food than throwing an epic anniversary party? This past Tuesday, the crew at Sens restaurant spared no expense in celebrating their six years in San Francisco in style by hosting a shindig no attendees will soon forget.
If you’re unfamiliar, Sens is the Mediterranean oasis in Embarcadero Center. It boasts a dome-bricked ceiling, rugged rock walls, and exposed beams inside, coupled with unbeatable views of the Ferry Building and Bay Bridge from its expansive heated outdoor patio. This should definitely be your go to spot to impress your Tinder date.
The ambiance isn’t the only thing that’s intoxicating, they also have an impressive list of spirits, wine, and beer. Their bar staff is both friendly AND knowledgeable — a rare combination here in San Francisco.
Owner, Kais Bouzidi even made a special guest appearance behind the bar.
The champagne was flowing, but as incredible as the drinks and atmosphere are, the main attraction at Sens is without a doubt their food. With a focus on the flavors of Turkey, North Africa, and Greece they have a lavish menu of inspired dishes with options for every diner.
Some of our favorite dishes were the lamb sliders on brioche with tzatziki and tomato-sesame jam, and the poached turkish apricots with chicken tagine filling, spiced yogurt, and pistachios. There was also an especially addictive mini leek tart that a certain member of The Bold Italic staff claims to have eaten 15 of.
Ploom gave the party an awesome hookah den vibe by sharing their fun and stylish vaporizers with partiers.
Liquor and conversation flowed courtesy of Evan Williams, Clase Azul Tequila, Russian Standard Vodka, and Young’s Market Distributors.
The folks at Snap Yourself provided tons of photobooth fun for guests.Who couldn’t use a professionally lit picture of themselves in giant glasses, right guys?
We’re looking forward to many more years of Sens!
