San Francisco Bans Smoking Tobacco in Apartments, Allows Cannabis

We recently wrote that the San Francisco Board of Supervisors was considering banning smoking both cannabis and tobacco in SF apartments.

But in the end, the board decided to exempt weed from the law.

Now under the measure, residents living in buildings with three or more units can’t smoke cigarettes; many buildings have already put those rules into their leases. But cannabis users: Smoke on.
