On October 30, pet owners and lover from around the Bay Area flocked to San Francisco Animal Care & Control’s Pet Pride Day in SOMA. Although the outdoor festivities were cancelled because of wind and rain, the SFACC kept the fuzzy party happening inside — which included photo booths, pet-adoption opportunities, microchipping, pumpkin decorating and a bake sale to raise money for good dogs. Adoption fees were waived for qualified adopters, giving pet lovers another reason to add a furry or feathered friend to the family. We captured some of the best and furriest moments of the day.

The original smartphone.

Did you know that the word for a group of pugs is a grumble?
