San Francisco seldom lacks opportunities for our local artists to showcase their talents. Maybe you’re like me though, and more is more; From de Young, MoMa, Legion of Honor, and many exhibitions in between, there’s no such thing as too many art showings.
Superfine Arts Fair at Fort Mason is a carefully-curated event designed not only to provide attendants with access to exciting new artists but also provide the artists with support in their careers, you can feel good knowing that 100 percent of the sale revenue goes to the artists. I walked around opening day and found more than just an art market, it’s also a space for making connections.
You can meet with the artists, learn about their process and inspirations and hopefully deepen the connection with your potential art purchases. Need something for the holidays? Here are three creators that may have something for you or your loved one.
Rosie Wick

The youngest artist at the show, Rosie Wick started producing art for sale this year. Her surrealist retro acrylic and oil painting which heavily features skyscapes and sunflowers would be a great addition to any trendy and modern room. This is Rosie’s second event with Superfine and she is anticipating a good response from the San Francisco audience.
Radhika Kshitij Sinha

If you love soft, bright explosions of colors you can meet with artist Radhika Kshitij Sinha’s current collection was inspired by the California super bloom and her vibrant watercolors perfectly capture the tranquility of sitting in a field of wildflowers. Her watercolor works are exceptionally eye-catching and feminine.
Erica Norelius

Erica Norelius’s collection focuses on San Francisco streets. Erica has been painting for 20 years and her skill is apparent, from a distance you would swear they were photos but up close you can see how she uses light change to capture unique moments in time on streets you may find familiar.
Superfine will run through Sunday the 19th but if you can’t make it out this weekend, worry not, the Superfine Art Fair will return to San Francisco in March 2024.
